Huon slab 198, 3100mm length, widths 480, 610, 580mm, average 560mm, 40mm thickness, weight 48.5kg. This slab has figured timber down one side but will have internal stresses. this slab is not suitable to be ripped length ways because it will result in curved timber, care needs to be taken when cutting across because it will likely jam your saw, There are some minor cracks marked with crayon and over its length it has a 20mm twist. If you wanted it cut in half for coffee tables we can surface straighten this for you using a large CNC router. Is it worth the trouble, we think so because it will result in very nice features.
