Huon slab 372, 2800 x 1040 x 50mm

Description

Huon pine slab 371, 2800 mm long, widths 1030-1100-980mm average 1030mm, 50mm thick, weight estimated at 78kg. Old growth timber. We normally cut off slabs with major voids on an end but left this one as it is because Huon of this width is highly likely not to be seen again. If this slab was shortened to about 2200mm and the off cut used to fill in the void in a V shape or it could be left mostly alone and resin filled.
